Last night saw all of the biggest names in country music attend the 2012 American Country Awards in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.

The annual awards ceremony which celebrates American country music was hosted by singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth and country star Trace Adkins. The huge height difference between Chenoweth and Adkins proved to be an entertaining factor throughout the evening.

Luke Bryan opened the show with a fantastic performance of his hit single ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’. 36 year-old Bryan was undoubtedly the star of the night, taking home an astonishing nine awards, from the public-voted ceremony. Bryan proved to be America’s favourite country star, winning the prestigious Artist of the Year award, as well as: Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Male Single of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Male Music Video of the Year, Most Played Radio Track of the Year and Most Played Male Radio Track of the Year.
