As we are aware that Paypal the leader in money transfer over the Internet does not offer its services for Pakistani users, hence it’s a great hurdle for Pakistani Webmasters, Designers etc to collect their payments online. As other Credit Card processing solutions for Website like the one offered by Citibank in Pakistan is pretty expensive.

Anyhow I have found two sites that can help you get payments online for your work in Pakistan and one of them i have tested myself. It’s 2Checkout.com and Plimus. I have an account with 2CO or 2checkout therefore i can explain how you can get payments with 2co.

All you need to create an account with 2co however before you do that, you need to have an active website on which you will be selling your services or work. It should be fully functional. The account cost one-time fee of US$ 50 for each website. And once you have created an account then you would need to create products and set their pricing. And that’s it. Link that product to your Website and once a user click on that product it will be directed to your 2co site where he/she can make payment via credit card and even paypal.

And upon successful transaction the money is credited to your account which you can draw by Check or Wire transfer to your account in Pakistan. I have not used Plimus yet. But I have heard very good stories about them and they are believed to be more lenient than 2CO. However in any case both of these sites should be able to help you with online payment processing for your products or services.

Great article dude. Just exactly when I was looking for one. I knwo 2CO has been here but their signup process is getting a little strict. Plimus is smooth …. thanks again.

Nice and effective information about 2checkout. I am thinking about signing up for their website for a while.

You can also consider Moneybookers.com, but their customer support is pathetic and they require too much documents to verify your account.

    3. I have not checked out moneybookers.com but i have heard so many local webmasters talking about this will give it a shot sometimes. thanks for letting me know.

    4. Thanks mate !

yeah well i guess alertypay should be considered a good alternative to stupid paypal.. I really don't know why only Paypal doesn't support Pakistan. Every other online payment companies seems to support Pakistan. So it can't be because they say there is some Spam from Pakistan.

I guess we all Pakistanis should use alertpay more and more to break the pride of Paypal of not accepting Pakistan as their accepted country.

To make an account at Alertpay go to following

      https://www.alertpay.com/?s%2fIhc6FFXVT0hDeC%2f...

To withdraw money from alertpay you have two options check/bank wire.

For check they charge 4 dollars and for bankwire they charge 15$.

So goto https://www.alertpay.com/?s%2fIhc6FFXVT0hDeC%2f... and start your freelancing career.
