Facebook now has Over 1 Million users from Pakistan !

Facebook is one of the largest Social Networking websites on the Internet with over 300 Million users Worldwide. It’s also ranked No.2 Website on the Internet by Alexa a position previously held by Yahoo! while Google is at the No.1 spot. Facebook is also one of the popular Websites in Pakistan and recently total number of users from Pakistan alone have crossed the 1 Million mark.
The above statistic are provided by Facebook itself, which has seen exponential growth especially in the past six months. It’s no wonder that more and more Pakistani Internet users are also joining Facebook, since it’s hugely popular among the people of all age groups esp., Teenagers who are always looking to make ‘friends’ online. Facebook is a platform for people to keep in touch with their real life or online friends and share their daily life pictures, videos and also take part in events. Thanks to affordable broadband internet service in the country, now more than ever Internet users from Pakistan are able to actively take part and become member of social Networking sites and online Forums etc.
پاکستان میں شاید ہی کوئی انٹرنیٹ استعمال کرنے والا ہو جو فیسبوک سے نا واقف ہو . فیسبوک دورحاضر کی مقبول ترین ویب سائٹس میں شمار کی جاتی ہے جس کی کل ممبران کی تعداد ٣٠ کروڑ سے بھی زاید ہے. حال ہی میں صرف پاکستان میں فیسبوک کے ممبران کی تعداد ١٠ لاکھ سے تجاوز کر گئی ہے. جو کہ ایک طرف فیسبوک کی پاکستان میں مقبولیت کو ظاہر کرتی ہے اور دوسری طرف پاکستان میں بڑھتے ہوے انٹرنیٹ کے استعمال کو.
فیسبوک کے ذریعے نہ صرف آپ اپنے دوست احباب کے احوال جان سکتے ہیں بلکہ آپ کو ہر روز نت نئی معلومات حاصل کرنے کا موقع بھی ملتا ہے. تاہم اس کا زیادہ استعمال آپ کو اس کا عادی بھی بنا سکتا ہے اور پھر آپ صرف فیسبوک کے ہی ہو کر رہ جائیں گے.
