Hulk Hogan Sex Tape: Howard Stern Coming To Bubba’s Aid?

The Hulk Hogan sex tape story gets stranger and stranger. There have been suggestions that the entire story has been a ‘work’ concocted by Hulk Hogan and his cronies. If it’s not the storyline has reached a point where it rivals anything ever seen in professional wrestling. The latest twist is the involvement of yet another ‘shock jock’–none other than Howard Stern–who is apparently coming to the side of Bubba the Love Sponge and insisting that he can get Hulk Hogan to drop his lawsuit.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’re likely up to speed on the myriad plot twists in the Hulk Hogan sex tape saga. The tape becomes public, the woman is identified as Heather Clem, ex-wife of long time Hogan confident Bubba the Love Sponge. Not long after Bubba himself is ‘outed’ as the voice on the tape.

Here’s where it starts to get strange. Hulk makes the media rounds apparently in an effort to redeem his public image. He goes on Howard Stern’s radio show but the big ‘plot twist’ comes on TMZ Live where they reveal the end of the tape which gives the impression that he was ‘set up’ by Bubba the Love Sponge. Hogan’s lawyer files suit against gossip website Gawker along with Bubba and his ex-wife. Bubba goes on the air with his side of the story, cutting a pro wrestling style promo on the Hulkster.

Enter Howard Stern–on his Wednesday SiriusXM radio show Stern tells Bubba that he is going to broker some sort of peace between him and Hogan. More specifically, he tells Bubba that “I’m getting you out of this lawsuit” to which Bubba responds “That would be great.” Stern’s longtime sidekick Robin Quivers then chimed in “He also is going to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

Stern, however, sounds like he’s serious. He’s convinced that Hogan had to know that he was being filmed and if that was the case his lawsuit lacks merit:

“I will get Hogan and Bubba together. I think what Bubba is saying is making a lot of sense. I think if Hogan could hear it and I can translate a little bit and calm everyone down, I think we could see through this …I think I can get Hulk Hogan to take you out of this lawsuit.”

Hogan lawyer David Houston isn’t amused by the most recent developments:

“This is not the Bubba Show, it’s litigation. Thanks to Bubba for making our case against him better. We look forward to seeing him in court. At that time it will not be a runaway rant. His time is coming.”

There will no doubt be more to this story with or without Stern’s involvment.
