MFA or Made for Adsense has been around for the long time. The sites that primarily are made for milking pennies and dollars from Google’s online publisher program ‘Adsense’. But guess what, the web has grown out of it. MFA websites were mainly small un-branded websites run by Individuals or in other words sploggers.

What about big sites, that have built their brands on pageviews, by using sneaky methods, called keyword targeting. I don’t mean that one shouldn’t use the relevant keywords in their article titles. But here we are talking about ‘sneaky’ websites. These websites write articles to target keywords instead of any genuine need for it. And the sole purpose of their articles or blog posts is to drive as much traffic from the Google Search as they can, regardless of, If they feel compelled or passionate writing about it. And I call these sites, ‘MFG’ i.e Made for Google.

Lately, I have been only following websites, that focus on one particular niche or topic. And their authors write for it, regardless of, If they would get any traffic from Google or not. That’s what, Blogging was meant to be. However a large number of people didn’t follow it, as including me, wanted to make quick bucks by writing articles that could bring good number of visitors by targeting high traffic keywords. But fortunately, I have given up on that and moved on, or I might be forced to ;} following the Panda update.

When the Panda update was first rolled, I bitched about it, I cried about it, I wished I could blow up Google Mountain View Office. But I was wrong, and it didn’t take me much longer to realize it. The way, ‘Tech Blogging’ had exploded from Manhattan to suburbs of India, in a hope to build MFG empires and their fortunes upon it, was not really helping the Internet. And It should have been controlled somehow. Which Google indeed did last year.

One of the examples of these MFG websites is, Mashable, I meant seriously, Can anyone figure what the heck this website is about? One day they are writing about Facebook, the other day they are writing a list post on WordPress themes, speaking of list posts, it is now a pretty out-dated trick for pageviews-whoring. They write any kind of article that potentially can bring good amount of traffic from Google Search. Some of their articles could be useful. Since they make millions, and they would be hiring talented writers. But the point is, their purpose of writing those articles is evident, which is to target keywords in order to grab search traffic.

Long story short, If by any chance, you are still into ‘Pro-Blogging’ business, then you must focus on a specific niche. Unless you can become PhD in your niche, you are only wasting your and only your time.

Anyway only effect that Google+ had on me is, that I have quitted using facebook. Not because I switched to Google+ because I feel, this whole thing is crappy. I can not keep up with this sh*t anymore.

I am now sticking to Twitter, there is much less fuss than on G+ or FB. The di*ckheads at Google won’t never understand what Microsoft has not figured yet. There is no need for Bing. There is no need for google+ either. Unless of course, Facebook somehow disappears from the internet and leaving a 100B worth wide hole in the market to be filled.

The last thing that any company can do to make it its failing product failing faster is, shoving it to users throats and have them bad taste in the mouth every time they visit gmail or google search.

Facebook is not a success because it’s a social website, there are millions of that now. Thing is facebook established this ‘ social niche’ like Google established ‘ Search ‘ Niche, like Microsoft established ‘ Desktop ‘ Niche, like Apple established ‘ Smartphone niche ‘ they are the makers of their niches. Unless Google can create its own niche this time, they are only going to waste their and our time.

Here is the complete guide from Ubuntu official site just in case you didn’t know. However in this article I am just going to cover the softwares or tools that you might need down the road. As I collected them by browsing through several online discussions forums in my quest to have dual boot on my HP Laptop for Windows and Ubuntu.

Step 1 Creating LiveUSB for Ubuntu using LinxusLiveUSB

LinuxLiveUSB is an open source free to use utility for Windows to create the LiveUSB or Installation USB for the Ubuntu. You can download it from here, free of cost. You would only need a 8 GB USB stick and Ubuntu ISO image which you can download from the official site. Keep in mind, during the process your USB stick would be formatted. So Only use a USB stick that you don’t have any important data on it.

Step 2 Creating LiveUSB for Windows 7 using WinToFlash

After creating Ubuntu Installation USB, you might need Windows 7 LiveUSB, If Windows 7 is already not installed on your computer or you want to do a fresh Install. I always prefer USB to DVD. They are fast and more reliable. So you would be better off to create a Windows 7 LiveUSB too. For this purpose you can use, WinToFlash Windows tool. It’s free to Download too. Again you would need a separate 8GB USB stick for this purpose and Windows 7 ISO Image, which you might have on your Windows 7 DVD or on your computer if you downloaded it from the internet.

Step 3 Master Boot Record Manager for Windows.

Once you have installed both Windows and Ubuntu. And to manage the dual boot, I would recommend installing EasyBCD bootloader manager on your Windows 7. It makes managing dual boot a breeze. Although you can manage the dual boot with Ubuntu’s Grub 2 utility too, yet EasyBCD is easier to configure and use as its names suggests. You can download it from here. It’s free for home users. who cares about this stuff anyway ;}

That’s it. These are really tiny tools for Windows, However it could save you a lot of hassle and make managing dual boot on your Laptop a breeze.
